Drug Test Kit (Saliva)

TAG Defence offers reliable and practical rapid test solutions for drug detection via saliva. These rapid immunological tests are designed to simultaneously and qualitatively detect drugs and their metabolites present in saliva. Saliva test kits are used to determine if a person is under the influence of a substance at the time of the test, rather than to detect past use.

Rapid Immunological Tests

Saliva testing is a sensitive screening method that allows for the quick detection of drugs ingested by the body. Test results are obtained within minutes, helping to make an accurate preliminary assessment and enabling quick and effective decisions.

Rapid and Qualitative Detection

Saliva testing is a versatile method for detecting illicit substances. These tests determine if a person is under the influence of drugs at the time of testing, rather than revealing past drug use. The test simultaneously screens for various illicit substances, clearly identifying which substances are present and guiding further intervention processes as needed. Saliva tests provide an effective and reliable method for public health, public safety, and individual security.

Some Areas of Use:

  • Probation and Parole Offices: Can be used to control drug use during inmate admissions and supervision processes.
  • Traffic Controls: Can be used to quickly determine if drivers are under the influence of substances.
  • Schools and Educational Institutions: Provides a quick and effective solution for controlling drug use among students.
  • Airlines: Can be used to monitor whether pilots and cabin crew are under the influence of substances. It offers a fast and reliable method to ensure flight safety.

Reliable Results, Practical Use

Our tests developed for saliva drug detection are notable for their portable and easy-to-use design. They can be easily applied in any environment, and results are obtained instantly, providing quick feedback to the user. Saliva drug test kits are very simple to use. The test cassette, which comes with the kit, is used by being directly brought into contact with the saliva sample. A test result can be obtained within a few minutes. To ensure accurate and reliable results, it’s important to follow the instructions for use. The accuracy of the test kit is also very high, with a low probability of false positive or false negative results.

How to Use

1
Collect saliva by swabbing the inner cheeks of the mouth and under the tongue with the saliva collection stick for 30 seconds.
2
Open the cap of the solution and dip the collection stick into the solution. Swirl the stick in the solution for 15-20 seconds.
3
After removing the sample collection stick from the solution, close the solution's cap and shake for 10-15 seconds.
4
Open the small cap at the tip of the solution. Dispense 3 drops of the prepared solution into each well of the test kit.
5
Read the results 5 minutes after the control line (C) appears on the test kit. Do not interpret test results after 15 minutes.

Interpretation of Results

  • Negative: Two lines appear. One should be in the control region (C) and the other in the test region (T). This result indicates that the sample concentration is below the detectable level.
  • Positive: Only one line appears. The line is in the control region (C), but there is no line in the test region (T). This result indicates that the sample concentration has exceeded the detectable level.
  • Invalid: The control region (C) shows no line.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the purpose of TAG Saliva Drug Test Kits?

TAG Saliva Drug Test Kits offer reliable and practical rapid test solutions for drug detection via saliva. They're primarily used to determine if a person is under the influence of a substance at the time of the test.

How quickly do saliva tests provide results?

Our saliva test kits provide results within minutes. You should read the results within 5 minutes after the control line appears on the test kit. Results should not be interpreted after 15 minutes.

Who can use these saliva test kits?

Thanks to their simple design, anyone can use these saliva test kits for personal testing without needing a specialist. However, it's crucial to remember that these products are strictly for forensic and workplace use.

Can a saliva test detect past drug use?

No, these tests are designed to determine if a person is under the influence of drugs at the time of the test, rather than to reveal past drug use. They can generally detect drugs used within the last few days.

How are saliva test results interpreted?

  • Negative: Two lines will appear: one in the control region (C) and another in the test region (T). This indicates the substance concentration in the sample is below the detectable level.
  • Positive: Only one colored line will appear in the control region (C), with no line visible in the test region (T). This means the substance concentration in the sample has exceeded the detectable level.
  • Invalid: No line appears in the control region (C). If this happens, the test kit did not function correctly, and you should perform another test using a new kit.

How do you perform a saliva test?

  • Collect Saliva Sample: Use the saliva collection stick to swab the inner cheeks and under the tongue for 30 seconds to collect a saliva sample.
  • Mix with Solution: Open the solution's cap, dip the stick into it, and swirl for 15-20 seconds.
  • Shake Solution: After removing the collection stick, close the solution's cap and shake for 10-15 seconds.
  • Apply to Test Kit: Open the small cap at the end of the solution and dispense 3 drops into each well of the test kit.
  • Read Result: Read the results 5 minutes after the control line appears on the test kit. Do not interpret the test results after 15 minutes.

Which substances can our saliva test kits detect and at what cut-off values?

Our saliva test kits can detect various substances at specific cut-off values, including: Amphetamine (AMP), Methamphetamine (MET), Ecstasy (MDMA), Benzodiazepines (BZO), Cocaine (COC), Opiates (OPI), Marijuana (THC), Each of our test kits is designed to provide accurate results for these substances at their predetermined cut-off levels (in ng/mL).
